A Yosemite Hike Review

GLACIER POINT ROAD:

Taft Point
A short but sweet hike, just over 2 miles round trip and almost entirely flat! Great for people of all ages and skill levels with a very rewarding and epic view at its end.

Mono Meadow
After descending down a short hill you come upon a lush meadow that makes you feel very far away. It is like a wonderland- full of flowers and the sounds of nature and unlike the more touristy experience you get at Glacier Point.

Panorama Trail
My favorite hike in the park because if you start at the top the hike is almost all downhill! A very leisurely 8 mile hike down into the valley, it is an easier alternative to doing the uphill Half Dome hike and you still get to see all of the Mist Trail. In fact, you get spectacular views of Illhouette Falls, Nevada Falls, and Vernal Falls all in one hike. This should be on your list of hikes to do within your lifetime!
